Strong start to 2016 for Contis Group
Contis continues to grow strongly with record sales results in December 2015 and a very strong deal flow for 2016, as the company prepares to list on the AIM market in the next few months. Ruffena is currently engaged with a number of investors and funds for the pre IPO convertible on offer.
Earlier this month, the company won the Business Card of the Year at the prestigious Cards and Payments Awards, which was attended by some 1500 senior bankers from across Europe. Contis Group won against such greats as Amexco, Lloyds, Airplus and over 40 other entrants. They were also runners up in the best prepaid and Debit card products narrowly beaten by Nationwide. There were some 129 entrants for these categories.
The company has also achieved pci-dss security level one which is the highest level in the payments industry globally.
Visa Europe Payout
Contis are expecting a significant payout for the company’s share in Visa Europe which is being sold to it’s US sister company, Visa Inc for $21 billion.
