Major new contracts won by Check4Cancer

The World’s second largest insurance company (name under embargo) have asked Check4Cancer to look after all their symptomatic breast cancer patients by providing a OneStop service which will detect 99.7% of all breast cancers. The deal will be announced on the 12th October during breast awareness month and be active from the 1st of January. The anticipated volumes are expected to generate over £1m in top-line revenue.

As well as screening and awareness campaigns for Cancer, Check4Cancer also provide genetic counselling and testing services under the GeneHealth UK brand. This service has seen considerable growth recently and is expected to continue with the involvement of a large chain of private hospitals. The chain has 2,000 consultants in London alone and have just confirmed their intention to roll out the service across all their UK sites as an Approved Provider.

The number of corporate clients is expected to double from 2015 to 2016, with new clients such as VW, Hertz, Franking Templeton, BDO, Wiley and Mattel coming on board.

Check4Cancer is the UK’s leading provider of early cancer detection services. The service is easily accessed online and delivered either at home, onsite or in one of 90 clinics across the UK.

The service is provided via two separate channels; via corporate clients such as Hewlett Packard; or directly to consumers. Over 25,000 examinations have been carried out to date.

The funding round is over 25% full with a final close expected within the next 4 weeks.
